Is your tetanus shot up to date?

Yesterday me and James went geocaching. We didnt find the first 2 caches we looked for. James managed to find his first one under a sign.

And here was what was in the cache.

The second cache we found was a bit easier to find - hidden under a stump... notice I am making him do the dirty work.

The third cache was very easy to find and we found it right away.

The forth cache was a bit trickier and very well hid, but I did manage to find it. The fifth cache was hid by the same people and I wasn't able to get a picture due to all the geomuggles around.

The last cache we looked for was hidden behind this old school house. We looked but did not find it.

Now I understand that there is a learning curve to geocaching. Yesterday I learned that you need to look where you are walking and not just at the GPS. Here is your pants look like after you walk into rusty barbed wire.

And here is a picture of the little scratch that it left....

Well that little scratch was enough to get me to go to the doctors to get a tetanus shot. Mine was way out of date, and as you can see from my pants - the barbed wire was pretty nasty and gross.

So - my PSA for the day - go get a tetanus shot - just in case. I'm the worlds biggest wuss and it didn't hurt *that* bad!
