Negativity
I recently left a message board that I loved because of the negativity there. I just had enough. I was tired of nasty snippy attacks and having to just take it.
Today someone emailed me to tell me that there was a thread there looking for me. Someone posted that I was taking a break because a place that used to be positive for me had turned into something negative. At least that's what I think she said, I didn't get to see the thread because it was deleted. Go figure.
Proves my point perfectly. Total double standard. It's ok for other folks to take breaks and folks to post similar things but if it has to do with me it's just forbidden. Whatever.

thanks hon. It really justifies my belief that it was time to leave. The heavy handed politically motivated moderation is just getting so out of hand. :(

Glad I found this blog. I totally understand what you mean. I've been having a lot of the same feelings over there and haven't been around as much. I'm still lurking some, but don't feel like posting much (except for layout stuff). Anyway, if you ever want to talk, I'm here. ryliesmom
I left a once-loved board last year and I have to say that it was one of the best decisions I've made.
