Where to start?

So I went down to San Diego for Christmas. Things were bad. Real bad. Me and Gary were just so disconnected. Somewhere on the drive back home things just snapped back into place. I'm not sure how or why but I'm not complaining.



This is what we had to deal with on the drive home. Pretty scary. Worse yet the freeway was closed in Yreka and got stuck in Yreka for a good part of the day.



We did make it home and have been having a great time. Today we went to lunch at the incredible Rogue Brewery in Newport Oregon. It was a pretty drive and the beer was great.




We walked around the brewery and had lunch. Dani really enjoyed the gift shop. Took a picture for her grandpa who is a big Rogue fan.



Finally I forced them to pose for a pic before we left.




We had a great lunch and got to try out my new toy - a Magellen eXplorist 500 gps. It's very cool but I barely understand how to use it. I hope to start geocaching soon. Isn't technology cool?
