BORREGO SPRINGS ---- Sheriff's detectives continued their investigation Tuesday into the death of a Rancho Penasquitos man whose body was discovered by a camper earlier this week.

The body of 28-year-old Richard C was discovered by the camper Sunday morning at Quartz Vein Wash near Highway 78, authorities said.

An autopsy concluded that Capilitan died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma, said George Dickason, an investigator with the San Diego County medical examiner's office. Dickason said details of the injuries were not available.

Sheriff's authorities said they have not determined whether the death was a homicide.
